【摘要】:Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofflammabilityofpaperandpaperboardsofalltypesnomorethan1/16in.(1.6mm)inthickness,thathavebeentreatedtoretardthespreadofflamewhenignited.Suchpapersarecommonlydesignatedasflame-retardant-treated.Thesetestmethodsmaybeusedwith,andmaybeusedtodistinguishbetween,paperandpaperboardmaterialshavingaflame-retardant-treatmentremovedbyleachinginwater,andthosewhoseflame-retardant-treatmentisnotremovedbywaterleaching.Thesetestmethodsappearasfollows:TheprimaryintendeduseofTestMethodAiswithpaperorpaperboardmaterialshavingaflame-retardanttreatmentthatisnotremovedbywaterleaching,ortospecifythepropertiesofsuchmaterials.TheprimaryintendeduseofTestMethodBiswithpaperorpaperboardmaterialshavingaflame-retardanttreatmentknowntoberemovedundertheleachingconditionsspecifiedinTestMethodA,orwherenon-removaloftheflame-retardanttreatmentbywaterleachingisnotadesiredorspecifiedproperty.Thisstandardshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse
