【摘要】:ThisCodeprovidesrulesandinstructionsforconductingperformancetestsoffuelfiredsteamgenerators.Theseincludecoal,oil,andgasfiredsteamgeneratorsaswellassteamgeneratorsfiredbyotherhydrocarbonfuels.Thescopealsoincludessteamgeneratorswithintegralfuel-sulfurcaptureutilizingchemicalsorbents.Steamgeneratorswhicharenotfiredbycoal,oil,orgasmaybetestedusingtheconceptsofthisCode,butitshouldbenotedthattheuncertaintycausedbyvariabilityofthefuelmaybedifficulttodetermineandislikelytobegreaterthantheuncertaintiesinsamplingandanalysisofcoal,oil,orgas.Forexample,gasturbineheatrecoveryandotherheatrecoverysteamgeneratorsdesignedtooperatewithsupplementalfiringshouldbetestedinaccordancewithPTC4.4.TestingofauxiliaryequipmentisnotaddressedinthisCode,butarecoveredPTC4.2,PTC4.3andPTC11.ThisCodedoesnotprescribeproceduresfortestingtodeterminechemicalandphysicalpropertiesoffuels.ThisCodespecificallyaddressesequipmentusedforthegenerationofsteam;however,thebasicprinciplespresentedarealsoapplicabletootherworkingfluids.CertaintypesandsizesofequipmentusedfortherecoveryofheatreleasedbycombustionarenotaddressedinanyspecificPerformanceTestCode.ThisCodecanbeusedasageneralguideindevelopingperformancetestsforsuchequipment;however,suchspecificallydevelopedperformancetestsshallnotbeconsideredASMECodetests.ThisCodeprovidesgeneralproceduresforconductingcombustiblefuelfiredsteamgeneratorperformancetests;however,itcannotpossiblyprovidedetailedproceduresapplicabletoeverysteamgeneratordesignvariation.DesignvariationsconsideredindevelopingthisCodeincludesubcriticalandsupercriticalonce-throughsteamgeneratorsandoil,gas,stoker,cyclone,pulverized,andfluidizedbedfiring.Foreachperformancetest,acompetentengineermuststudytheactualsteamgeneratoranditsrelationtotheremainderofthesteamcycle,anddeveloptestprocedureswhichareconsistentwiththisCode.Atestreportshallbeprepared.Manyreferences,whicharelistedinthisCodeprovideusefulsupplementalinformationinplanningforaperformancetestinaccordancewiththisCode.
