【摘要】:ThisStandardisintendedtocoverthecompletegeneralanddimensionaldataforthevarioustypesofinchseriessquareandhexnuts,includingmachinescrewnutsandcouplingnuts,recognizedas"AmericanNationalStandard."Alsoincludedareappendicescoveringgagingofslotsinslottednuts,wrenchopeningsfornuts,andformulasonwhichdimensionaldataarebased.Itshouldbeunderstood,however,thatwherequestionsariseconcerningacceptanceofproduct,thedimensionsintheTablesshallgovernoverrecalculationbyformula.TheinclusionofdimensionaldatainthisStandardisnotintendedtoimplythatalloftheproductsdescribedhereinarestockproductionsizes.Consumersarerequestedtoconsultwithmanufacturersconcerninglistsofstockproductionsizes.
