【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscylindricaltanksfabricatedbyfilamentwindingforabove-groundverticalinstallation,tocontainaggressivechemicalsatatmosphericpressureasclassifiedherein,andmadeofacommercial-gradepolyesterorvinylesterresin.Includedarerequirementsformaterials,properties,design,construction,dimensions,tolerances,workmanship,andappearance.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverthedesignofvesselsintendedforpressureaboveatmospheric,vacuumconditions,exceptasclassifiedherein,orvesselsintendedforusewithliquidsheatedabovetheirflashpoints.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Note18212;Specialdesignconsiderationshouldbegiventovesselssubjecttosuperimposedmechanicalforces,suchasearthquakes,windload,oragitation,andtovesselssubjecttoservicetemperatureinexcessof180x00B0;F(82x00B0;C),andtovesselswithunsupportedbottoms.Note28212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
